Aircraft Museum Photo feature

Scenery of Aircraft Museum Dhangadhi, run by Captain Bed Upreti.
Entry fee: 100 rupees (Just 50 rupees for students)
'Promoted and started by Capt Bed Upreti in Sept 2014 - something really different at least in Nepal. It is believed that it is the world’s first miniature aircraft museum in a jet aircraft. This museum is actually inside a 100-seater Fokker aircraft that once belonged to now-defunct Cosmic Air. The museum is showcasing photos of many famous tourist destinations across the world, including items of historic and archaeological importance collected from the Far-west region of Nepal with the aim to also promote tourism in far-western region of Nepal. The museum also displays 100s of miniature aircraft models. They also shows documentaries on the aircraft museum on a flat TV screen inside the aircraft. One can use captain dress on small fees and take photos as well inside the aircrafts museum. A very nominal fees of Rs 150 charged to visitors and there is a facilities to grab quick nibbles, tea and coffees as well. Something innovative in far western town of Dhangadhi and I highly recommend to try it out.' - Mukesh S
