Green Clean Dhangadhi

Planting in the surrounding of Dhangadhi Stadium

"Green Clean Dhangadhi", as the name itself suggests, has a vision to establish Dhangadhi as an emblem of natural entity. This programme since its inception has been launching a number of environmental awareness programmes an conducting them with utmost effort for the constructive result, making the students involve in the mass and organizing the huge rally, making the general people aware of the adverse consequences of environmental decline. organizing plantation campaign and presenting scholarly reports on green clean related activities in the seminars are some of its indespensable instances.

The minor step, what I have realized during my involvement in the programme, has surprizingly attracted the attention of the public and the concerned authorities. The Collaboration of Dhangadhi Muicipality in our expedition is its one of the striking examples. Now the people of Dhangadhi, as I sincerely believe, ponder over their habitual actions and gradually are in the process of change.

I'm overwhelmed by the fact that a considerable number of students, teachers, and more importantly the general public have raised the height of this programme. Moreover, I am heavely indebted to the media which has supported our mission playing a role of bridge between us and every individual. Thus, it has inspired the people to think over the environmental issues. The government authority is also showing its concern.

Beyond the immediate and readymade benifits we are always guided by the vision that it would function as symbol for all who love "green and clean" environment. Soon, we have a plan to extend its effort to much wider areas intensively and extensively. Thus, at the end, I appeal to all who are serious about the sustainable development and coming generation to participate in this programme to make the world better state to live.Thank You.
